Biography
Keith Uff received his legal education at Lincoln College, Oxford and then was called to the Bar by Gray’s Inn. He then practised at the English Bar and in 1972 became a Lecturer in the School of Law at the University of Birmingham.

Research
My research interest is in civil procedure, particularly problems associated with limitation of actions, pre-trial procedure and multi-party actions.
I am also a member of the Judicial independence Project headed by Professor Shimon Shetreet of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
Other activities
Mr Uff has held visiting appointments at the University of Mauritius, the University of Stockholm, the University of Bayreuth, the University of Warwick and the University of Osnabrück. He is a former Assistant Editor of Civil Justice Quarterly and was formerly Executive General Secretary of the International Association of Procedural Law and Assistant Director of the Legal Office of the University of Birmingham.
