Within the department, he teaches Spanish Peninsular and Spanish American history, including the modules Conquest, Empire and Inquisition in Sixteenth- Century Spain and Spanish America; Vision of the Vanquished: Native Society and Spaniards in America ca. 1400 – ca. 1600; Great Power Intervention in the Spanish Civil War.
His administrative role is Tutor for incoming Erasmus students (semester 1 only).
Dr Griffiths teaches exclusively in Semester 1 of each academic session.
