Dr Jeremy Morris was one of a few outstanding international scholars to be awarded this prestigious appointment for 2014-15, against record competition of 176 applications.

For his period of residency as a Visiting Fellow he will work on the project: ‘Russia’s Worthless Dowry? – an Ethnographic study of the blue-collar monotown’. This is part of a book-length work of holistic, interdisciplinary social science scholarship representing every-day lived experience in an urban space and based on in-depth ethnographic research materials gathered since 2009.
