After winning the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition at the age of fourteen, David Pyatt embarked on a solo career that took him all over this country and to Europe, the USA, Canada and Japan. He made his BBC Proms début in 1993, has worked with many of the UK’s leading orchestras and since 1998 has been Principal Horn of the London Symphony Orchestra.

The violinist Lucy Gould founded the award-winning Gould Piano Trio while still a student at the Royal Academy of Music, where she won the Queen’s Commendation for Excellence. Having led the Academy of St Martin-in-the Fields, Hallé, BBC Philharmonic and Scottish Chamber orchestras, she is now Principal Violin II of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.

A champion both of the unknown and of the familiar, Leon McCawley is one of Britain’s finest living pianists. His recordings have impressed critics far and wide. As a keen chamber musician he has collaborated with leading soloists and ensembles at, for example, the BBC Proms Chamber Series, the Wigmore Hall and the Aldeburgh, Brighton, Cheltenham and Edinburgh festivals.
