10.30 - 13.30: Come and play Saint-Saëns’ Organ Symphony
With its rousing, memorable melodies and utilising the full force of the orchestra, Saint-Saëns Organ Symphony is the ideal piece to kick off the new academic year. Daniele Rosina, Director of Orchestral Studies, leads a session for mass orchestra with Nicholas Werne on organ. Bring along your instrument and experience this popular work for yourself.
14.30 - 17.30: Come and sing choruses from Messiah
Singers of all abilities are welcome for our afternoon session as Simon Halsey, Director of Choral Activity, takes a rehearsal focusing on the ever-popular choruses from the Messiah. If you have your own score then please bring it along - a score will beprovided otherwise.
