Leading Art Song and Lieder pianist Joseph Middleton returns to the Barber following a sell out concert with Sir Thomas Allen in October. In this concert he is joined by Austrian soprano Christina Gansch, winner of the 2014 Kathleen Ferrier Award. A graduate of Salzburg’s Mozarteum and the Royal Academy of Music, Christina is a member of the International Studio of the Hamburgische Staatoper where her roles this season include Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel ) and Frasquita (Carmen).
