Freida Abtan guest artist

Multi-disciplinary artist Freida Abtan is the featured guest for an evening of electronic music with video. Her multimedia works are remarkable for their poetic beauty, and combine aspects of musique concrete, noise music and live performance. For this concert she will premiere a new work for video and electronic sound, designed especially for the BEASTdome system. Earlier in the day she will give a workshop on live video processing. Video-music legend Jean Piché’s raucous eXpress will open the concert, which will also feature music by Birmingham artists.
