The Music Society Chamber Choirs and Brass Band present a joint concert, bringing together musicians from across the campus. The Brass Band's programme serves as an overview of the 20th century British brass band tradition - with a concert march, Frank Wright's popular arrangement of Le Roi d'Ys, and competition test pieces - the band then moves in to the 21st century with Simon Dobson's 2009 march, Lock Horns/Rage On. In contrast, the choirs present an eclectic programme featuring composers from across the world.
