Speakers include: Dr Ross Abbinnett (University of Birmingham, UK); Dr Ranjana Das (University of Leicester, UK); Prof. Janet Giltrow, (University of British Columbia, Canada); Prof. Gary Hall (Coventry University, UK); Prof. Susan Herring (Indiana University, USA); Prof. Gunther Kress (Institute of Education, University of London, UK); Dr Simone Schroth University of Newcastle, UK); Dr Vlad Strukov (University of Leeds, UK).

Roundtable: Do new technologies necessarily lead to the advent of new genres? What are the differences between the medium and genre?
