Formed in February 2006, our Industrial Advisory Committee makes recommendations and suggestions to help us develop and improve provision so as to keep us up-to-date with the current and future needs of industry.
Currently we have nine industrialists (from Autodesk, Caterpillar, IMechE, Intertek, Jaguar Land Rover, MatOrtho Ltd, Mazak, Renishaw and Rolls Royce.), all senior professionals in their own right , who were chosen to provide as wide a range of experience as possible. It has advised on raising our profile, funding, staffing, admissions policies/recruitment, the restructuring of taught programmes, accreditation, the needs of industry in terms of graduates, and research.
