The Professor Frank Wallace Scholarship

Background

The Professor Frank Wallace Scholarship has been established in memory of Professor Frank Wallace who graduated from Birmingham with a first class Mechanical Engineering BSc in 1945.  Professor Wallace had a very distinguished Mechanical Engineering career in academia at Birmingham, Queen’s University, Belfast and the University of Bath.

The Scholarship has been made possible by the generosity and wish of Professor Wallace’s children and their families to remember their father at the University.  Professor Wallace held much affection for the University of Birmingham as it was here that he developed his lifelong passion in Mechanical Engineering.
