What’s involved?

  • You will undergo an EEG. This is a non invasive procedure to measure your brain waves. It involves wearing an EEG cap (pictured right). We use electrode gel to increase electrode conductivity
  • You will need to be in the lab for about two hours and 30 minutes. There are some individual time differences, but you will be given £15 for taking part.

Unfortunately you cannot be considered for participation if you:

  • have a history of neurological/psychiatric illness, epilepsy or migraine
  • do not have normal/corrected to normal vision/are colour blind
  • are outside the age range of 18-25

If you have any questions or would like to arrange a time/date to take part, please contact Jumana Ahmad (ahmadjy@bham.ac.uk)
