Stacey Bissell and Katherine Ellis, PhD students at the Cerebra Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the University of Birmingham recently presented their work at the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) World Congress in Melbourne, Australia (14-19 August 2016).

On Saturday 18 June some of the country's top female academics took to the streets of Oxford to tell the public about their research. This event, run by Soapbox Science, was one of a series which aims to promote women in science in an interesting and engaging way as they share their passion for science with the general public.

Shana Gander-Zaucker, Doctoral Researcher in the School of Psychology, has won the Overall Winner achievement award, at the Graduate School's 10th annual Research Poster Conference. This year the event was held at the Aston Webb building at the University of Birmingham on 14 June.
