Giulio Degano is undertaking doctoral research into perception and sensory integration by measuring local activity and brain connectivity. He is using a combination multimodal neuroimaging data (EEG and fMRI) in order to understand cognitive processing and the role of various neuronal mechanisms.

Biography

Giulio has studied Biomedical Engineering the University of Padova with a focus on Biological Data Analysis and Bioimaging. He also participate to an Erasmus project at the University of Dundee where he worked on his Master thesis developing automatic vessel segmentation tools for WBMRI images.
