Title of PhD: Spatial and social perspective-taking in young children
Supervisors: Professor Ian Apperly and Dr Sotaro Kita
I am primarily interested in child development and specifically the development of the cognitive abilities related to what is often termed a ‘Theory of Mind’. I am currently working with Ian Apperly and Sotaro Kita on research into the development of joint action co-representation effects'. I am also working with Sotaro Kita on research into early understanding of symbols, particularly in the domain of gesture.
