I graduated in 2011 from University of Comillas in Spain with a 5 years degree in Psychology. As part of my BSc, I worked at the psychology unit of Court Police (Spain), investigating indirect methods to evaluate personality traits of people implicated in criminal offences. Since 2012, I have been working as a doctoral researcher at the University of Birmingham. My PhD research focuses on the empathic and socio-emotional functioning of individuals with autism spectrum disorders and conduct disorder. Additionally, I am comparing the empathic and socio-emotional capacities of Spanish and British individuals.
