Title of PhD: Visual affordance effects on attention and perception

I am interested in how visual attention is influenced by action information in images. I will conduct behavioral as well as functional imaging experiments with patients showing visual extinction as well as with age-matched controls.
I have a Diploma in Psychology from the University of Regensburg, Germany. I worked for two years as a research assistant on various lines of research projects, all concerned with the dysfunction of the vestibular system using behavioral as well as functional imaging techniques (PET, fMRI) at the Munich University Hospital with Prof Dieterich/Prof Brandt. During this time I collaborated with Dr Redel (LMU Munich) exploring whether and to what extent vestibular patients have vestibular deficits.
