Title of PhD: Cannabis, resilience and psychopathology in adolescence
Supervisor: Dr Hermine Graham
I am interested in cannabis use in adolescence. In particular, its relation to psychopathology and how resilient outcomes can be achieved.
I acquired a 2.1 BSc in Psychology at the University of Birmingham. Immediately afterwards, I embarked on my PhD here at Birmingham with Dr Hermine Graham.
Cannabis; Psychosis; Mood and anxiety disorders; Resilience
During my time at the university, I have been involved in teaching, working as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate students. I also work part time as an Assistant Mental Health Recovery Worker for Rethink. This involves facilitating people affected by long term mental illness (especially Psychosis) to regain their independence within a person-centred recovery based approach.
