Leading Social Work Practice Seminar Series
Led by leading academics with a wide experience in policy and practice, these free seminars are targeted at leaders and managers in all areas of the social work profession. Seminars will also be of interest to academics, health and social care professionals and postgraduate students.

Working in Public Service: Wednesday 26th February 2014
This 'speed networking' event gives Social Science students information about working in public service and about internship opportunities with the University’s public service partners. Students will be able to quiz public service staff about their roles and career paths. They include staff from Birmingham City Council, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Shropshire Council, police and probation services, and voluntary sector providers.
