The Department of Social Policy and Social Work offers a range of postqualifying / continuing professional development programmes for those working in social work with adults, leadership and management, children and families, community justice and nursing.

Certificate in Practice Education

The Advanced Certificate / Postgraduate Certificate in Practice Education enables qualified social workers to become practice educators and provides the knowledge and skills to be able to deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences to a range of learners, including social work students, newly qualified social workers, and more experienced practitioners.

It is a part-time course consisting of 3 modules. These modules can, however, be taken on an ad-hoc individual basis.
