Joy Fillingham, Service User and Carer Coordinator for the Social Work Programmes, is working with Service Users and Carers running a masterclass for sixth form students.

The masterclass entitled 'Challenging assumptions when working with 'vulnerable' people', is an interactive session exploring what it is like to work with service users and carers in a social work or other health and social care setting.

Joy said "I really want young people who are thinking of working with so called 'vulnerable people' to have a clear idea about what this may involve and to recognise the diversity, experiences and strength service users and carers possess."
