High rankings for Social Policy and Social Work

Social Policy and Social Work rank highly in Guardian League Tables 2014 Both Social Policy and Social Work at the Institute of Applied Social Studies, performed well in the Guardian's University Guide 2014 league tables which were published on 4 June.

Social Work at Birmingham was ranked twelve out of seventy four achieving a course satisfaction rating of 94% and 91% of students were satisfied with teaching.

Social Policy at Birmingham also did well, making an appearance in the top 10. Ranked at number six out of thirty, social policy achieved a course satisfaction rating of 85% and 88% of students were satisfied with teaching.

The University of Birmingham's overall position this year is 15th nationally out of 119 institutions, an increase of 15 places from 30th last year.
