Reimagining society in an era of superdiversity: New IRiS Working Paper Series

Posted on Thursday 12th June 2014

IRiS Working Paper Series offers a platform to showcase research that is theoretically and methodologically innovative, empirically grounded and policy relevant on the emerging field of superdiversity.

Papers will address a range of topics including issues surrounding cohesion and integration, governance and innovations, identity, global networks and transnationalism, rights and citizenship, public service delivery, and poverty and social inequality.

The first Working Papers in the series are by Jenny Allsopp (University of Oxford), Nando Sigona and Jenny Phillimore (University of Birmingham) on causes and experiences of poverty among asylum seekers and refugees in the UK, and Susanne Wessendorf (University of Birmingham) on researching social relations in super-diverse neighbourhoods.
