saul-becker-tvNew Pro-Vice Chancellor for the College of Social Sciences, Professor Saul Becker, features in a one hour documentary which aired on Channel 4 last night on 'Britain's youngest carers'.

This documentary follows the lives of four of Britain's youngest carers - six-year-old Ty-Reece, sisters Clare and Erin, who are 16 and 14, and Josh, who's 13 - to understand the challenges that they face in caring for their parents.

Oritsé Williams from JLS has cared for his mother since he was 12. He explores how other young people manage to care for relatives and balance the responsibility with other childhood pressures.  Oritsé Williams and Saul Becker discuss the wider issues and policy context.
