I was a Senior Fellow at HSMC from 1990-1998 and was Deputy Director from 1993 until 1997.
Having moved to Guildford following my marriage, I continued to work for HSMC in a visiting capacity on their Senior Management Development Programme and also continued freelance consultancy concentrating in particular on the leadership development of female Non-Executive Directors and Chairmen. In recent years, my developing interest in the criminal justice system has lead to me becoming a Magistrate. This, coupled with regular tavel, and enjoyment of London theatre, opera and ballet makes for a busy and happy retirement.
The period of Chris Ham's leadership and development of the Centre was a particularly stimulating and memorable time. Under Chris's leadership, existing and rising 'stars' were attracted to the academic team, cutting edge research, major contracts and innovative new programmes were developed and thrived. It was a time of exciting possibilities and opportunities, much hard work, terrific teamwork (academic and support staff) and fun. Heady stuff and treasured memories!
