HSMC to welcome new Senior Fellows

HSMC has recently appointed two new Senior Fellows to join its academic team in May.

Iain Snelling joins the department from Sheffield Hallam University, where he is currently Head of the Centre for Professional and Organisation Development in the University's Faculty of Health and Wellbeing.  Iain has been at the University for eight years, prior to which he was a general manager in NHS acute hospitals for 13 years, mainly in Suffolk.  His main academic interests are the performance and regulation of acute hospitals and the evaluation of and development of NHS managers and organisations.

Robin Miller is currently Deputy Director of Provider Services at Solihull Care Trust where he manages child health and disability services.  He is also currently leading a social enterprise bid at the Care Trust.  Robin has worked in community care, learning disability services and children's services across the West Midlands and has previously carried out joint research with the department and acted as a visiting speaker on a number of HSMC programmes.
