The NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement has recently published a literature review on Public Value in the NHS and a Public Value Toolkit for commissioners. This represents the outputs of a year long project into Public Value in the Public Sector which was co-funded by the NHS Institute and Warwick Business School. A Fellowship post and consultancy input from HSMC's Iestyn Williams was funded as part of the project which focused on decision-making and priority setting.
The toolkit and literature review are now available on the NHS Institute website.
A paper on Public Value in the Public Sector is also due to be published in a forthcoming edition of Public Administration.
