HSMC contributes to decentralisation and performance report

HSMC's Professor Martin Powell is part of the team which has recently published a report on the inter-relationships between governance mechanisms, autonomy and incentives in local health economies.

The team, led by Dr Mark Exworthy at Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, Univesity of London, was commissioned by the NHS National Institute for Health Research, Service Delivery and Organisation Programme (SDO), to undertake the four year project, examining the impact of decentralisation on the performance of local health economies.
