Care quality conference considers the importance of culture change

Professor Russell Mannion, together with Australian colleague, Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite, has recently attended the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQUA) conference in Hong Kong. The pair presented a one day pre conference workshop entitled ‘Culture Change: Mapping, Modelling, Measuring and Mobilising’ and a paper entitled - ‘New data illuminating culture change: a story of two health systems at either end of the world’.

ISQUA is the leading international conference for research on health care quality and patient safety. Russell is a member of the ISQUA scientific committee and while in Hong Kong was also invited to meet with the city’s minister of health to discuss his latest research in the field.
