Jon Glasby has been appointed to an expert panel at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation to help guide its work around ‘A Better Life’ for older people
This is a £1.5 million, 5-year programme of work designed to improve quality of life for older people in the UK. To help identify key themes from the overall programme, the Rowntree Foundation has identified a small group of experts (an Expert Synthesis Panel - ESP), to help draw together overall messages and consider what these mean in the current policy and practice context. These will be published as a separate book – the final output for the programme.
Jon’s involvement links to key HSMC projects such as our work around prevention in older people’s services and research into older people’s experiences of moving across service boundaries.
