Jack Dromey, Shadow Minister for Housing, has provided a keynote address to a joint HSMC and National Housing Federation event on the relationship between health, housing and social care. HSMC has a longstanding reputation for its work around collaboration, partnerships and integration, and has recently been invited to be part of the national process for identifying new integrated care ‘pioneers’.
HSMC also edit the Journal of Integrated Care and have previously provided policy advice to the NHS Future Forum, the social care White Paper team and the Ministerial Working Group on Health and Social Care Integration. They are also authors of Policy Press’s Better Partnership Working series and Palgrave’s ‘Inter-agency working’ series.
At the conference, Jack spoke passionately about the impact good housing has on health and well-being and future plans for developing more integrated care.
