Students studying outsideWe have been welcoming international students at the University of Birmingham since its inception in 1900 and with almost 5,000 international students from over 50 countries, we now boast one of the largest and most vibrant international student communities in the UK.

The School of Social Policy has welcomed international students over many years and we understand the type of support you need to settle in to life as a student in a country away from home. Our geographical location is one characterised by ethnic diversity and both urban and rural locations.
