NHS Confederation Annual Conference and Exhibition

Come along and say hello to representatives from the Health Services Management Centre who will be attending the NHS Confederation Annual Conference and Exhibition, 5 – 7 June 2013. The conference is being held at the Liverpool ACC and HSMC have a stand (H58) all week in the exhibition hall.

IASS Academics Showcase New Approaches to Using Social Media for Research, Teaching and Learning

Around 40 participants from different universities and practical settings who are involved in teaching, research or directly managing degree programmes in social work and social policy, attended an event hosted by IASS academics, to provide them with an opportunity to find out more about the role social media can play in enhancing the student and tutor experiences.

EU Accession Migration event

Description
This conference, jointly organised by the Institute for Research into Superdiversity at the University of Birmingham, the West Midlands Strategic Migration Partnership, Migrants Right Network and the Migrants in Rural Areas (MIRA) project, aims to analyse the impacts of post-2004 EU migration on the economy, public sector and community cohesion in the West Midlands.
