Assessing financial literacy in secondary schools
Lindsey Appleyard and Peter Davies (New Core Member of CHASM in the School of Education), will develop an assessment tool for financial literacy in secondary schools.
Research was carried out in three schools to gather in-depth data on variation in levels of students' financial understanding. The project also involved holding an international workshop in November 2012 with collaborators from the US and Switzerland alongside teachers involved in the research.
