Building and facilities

Thanks to a £16.4 million investment, we now boast the largest custom built Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences facility in the UK. This includes teaching and research laboratories for physiology, biochemistry, psychophysiology, biomechanics, sport psychology, motor skills, immunology, muscle mechanics and the neurophysiology of movement.

In the video above Dr Gareth Wallis and Dr Matt Bridge introduce the facilities at the School. Video transcript here (DOC)

Our students use these facilities from first year to PhD to carry out cutting-edge experiments to learn sport and exercise sciences first hand.
