About the Student Ambassador Scheme

I really wanted to give back to the school, and to help new students feel as welcome as I did when I first came. Becoming a Student Ambassador has enabled me to develop my personal and communication skills, as the job requires me to be outgoing and to talk to everyone. I have been able to work closely with members of staff, learnt new things and made new friends.

My top tips for prospective Birmingham students

  1. Push yourself out of your comfort zone and try something new
  2. Join a sports team or society – it’s the best way to make friends
  3. Enjoy yourself and make the most of every opportunity. Choose the place that feels right to you, you’ll be happy wherever you end up!
