We are delighted to announce the University of Birmingham’s forthcoming Sport Science Conference 2015: ‘The science behind human movement’.
The Sport Science Conference is delivered by School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences and seeks to offer an insight into the science behind sport and human movement.
In addition, UBSport (the University’s performance and participation sport and fitness provider) will provide an overview of the University’s sporting provision including the exciting new facilities currently being built.
The Sport Science Conference will appeal to students in Year 12 who have an interest in how the human body moves, and will incorporate information on the undergraduate courses offered by the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences.

The event will include a range of practical, informative and interactive sessions for your students, and will be held on Tuesday 7 July 2015, with registration commencing at 8.45-9.20am. The day will finish at approximately 3.00pm. Registrants are requested to bring their own lunches with them.

The event will cater for a maximum of 100 students, with schools/colleges initially being allocated 10 places. Should you require additional places, please contact us advising how many places you require. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please complete the online booking form detailing how many students you would like to bring, together with the number of accompanying teaching staff. Please note: All students must be accompanied by a member of staff from their school/college. Booking requests and allocations will be responded to on a first-come, first-served basis.
