Sophie gained work experience with UK Sport whilst studying for her BSc in Sport and Exercise Sciences. After completing her undergraduate degree program at the University of Birmingham, she began working with England Rugby as a Sports Nutrition intern before starting her PhD in October 2010. Sophie is also studying for the International Olympic Committee Post-Graduate Diploma of Sports Nutrition.
