Research

Based on the premise that athletes' identity is layered and intersectional, Kurniati/Kay intends to explore the intersectionality issues of elite athletes in the Indonesian context. Indonesia has diverseness of cultures, ethnics and collectivism which probably creates a different pattern of identity. She intends to capture social-constructed psychological demands and ruminations of identities within this environment.
