About

I joined the faculty and Department of Accounting and Finance in June 2011. 

Prior to this I was on the faculty of Lancaster University Management School in the Department of Accounting and Finance. My responsibilities at LUMS included the role of Deputy Director of Masters Programmes in Accounting and Finance.

Qualifications

PhD in Finance, Lancaster University Management School

Teaching

My teaching and PhD supervision interests are primarily in the area of corporate finance.  

Postgraduate supervision

My teaching and PhD supervision interests are primarily in the area of corporate finance.  

Research

My present research interests are primarily focused on the efficiency of the takeover market and the interplay with corporate governance. My other research interests include corporate finance issues pertaining to private firms, and share repurchases. My research has been funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, and presented at the Annual Meetings of the European Finance Association and Financial Management Association.
