Biography

I joined the Department of Economics in January 2011, having previously held positions at Queen’s University Belfast and at University College Dublin. My research interests span several areas of dynamic economics - especially in the field of Growth and Development Economics - and Environmental and Resource Economics. My recent work focuses on the interface between environmental policy and technological change, on the economics and policy of non-renewable resources use, and on international migration – specifically the brain drain.

 

I hold a PhD in Economics from Tilburg University, and have studied in Rome, Milan and Vienna.
