Biography

Marta Guerriero joined the Department of Economics in September 2012. Prior to that, she worked as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Manchester and as an economic and commercial analyst and consultant.

Marta's research interests lie with the study of income distribution and labour markets. She is currently completing her PhD in Development Economics at the University of Manchester. In her thesis she aims at investigating the recent evolution of functional distribution of income around the world and explaining its determinants.
