Dr Sara Trevitt works as a Trial Coordinator at the Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit (CRCTU).

She is a member of the CRCTU’s D3B Team, which is based in the Institute of Translational Medicine at the University of Birmingham. Sara also holds an honorary research contract with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

Biography

Dr Sara Trevitt joined the Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit (CRCTU) in April 2017, working as a Trial Coordinator. Before that, she worked as a Research Fellow for 12 years in the University of Birmingham’s Institute of Applied Health Research, where she was a Senior Analyst at the NIHR Horizon Scanning Research & Intelligence Centre.

Sara has also worked in research management at the Medical Research Council (MRC) Head Office in London, as well as in academic publishing at Cambridge University Press and Wiley-Blackwell Publications, and for an international development agency.

 

 

Teaching

Dr Trevitt teaches a range of public health topics to medical students.

Research

Research into new and emerging health technologies that offer potential for impact on the NHS, patients and their carers.
