Iain Kings is an Associate Professor in the School of Chemical Engineering.

He is teaching-focused, and has been recently appointed Director of Undergraduate Studies in the School of Chemical Engineering. He is involved in the delivery of several modules at all levels of the UG course and particularly focuses on the development of computational skills for analysis of chemical processes and in chemical process design in the early stages of the undergraduate course.

He is interested in the concept of technology-enhanced learning, and is actively engaged in improving the delivery of laboratory study using this, particularly in the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic.

His research interests are focused on chemical reactor modelling and supercritical fluids processing for sustainable waste treatment, and he’s very interested in collaborating in these, and related, fields.
