Sukhvinder Singh Atthi is a part-time clinical lecturer in Oral Surgery at the School of Dentistry. Responsibilities include teaching of undergraduates during patient treatment sessions and organising the oral surgery seminars.
Mr. Atthi also is a principal at Hillbrook Dental Heath Centre, and as a general dental practitioner has special interests in Sedation, MOS and Orthodontics. He also works at Solihull Hospital treating nervous patients with sedation for all types of minor oral surgery.
Currently Mr. Atthi is studying towards the MSc in Orthodontics at Warwick University.
Sukhvinder qualified in 1998 with BDS and completed his VT in Stoke, where he spent the next five years working in mixed NHS/Private practice and as a SHO in OMFS.
Moving to Birmingham, Sukhvinder worked in general practice, community dental service (Personal Dental Service) up till 2004, when he bought his NHS practice on Ladypool Road in the famous Balti Triangle area.
He has been a dental foundation trainer since 2005.
