Chris Dakin is a part-time Clinical Lecturer at the School of Dentistry, responsible for one-to-one teaching of dental students during patient treatment sessions. Outside of the School, he is General Dental Practitioner in private practices in Shipston-on-Stour, and Leicester.
Chris qualified in Dentistry from the University of Birmingham in 2002, and completed the West Midlands Vocational Training Scheme in practice in Leamington Spa. He then spent 4 years as an associate in NHS practice in Coventry, before reducing this commitment to take a part-time private practice position in Tile Hill.
He was appointed part-time Clinical Lecturer at the School of Dentistry in 2006, and moved into fully private practice as an associate in Solihull in 2008. His current practice positions started in 2010. His interests are in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, and he has studied extensively with the Florida-based Dawson Academy.
