Penny White is a part-time Clinical Lecturer at the School of Dentistry, responsible for one-to-one teaching of third year dental students during patient treatment sessions. Outside of the School she is an associate General Dental Practitioner in a Private practice in Wolverhampton. Within the practice Penny has a special interest in Prosthetics and Periodontics.
Penny is a regular attender at post graduate meetings both locally and in Birmingham.
Penny qualified in Dentistry with Honours, from the University of Birmingham in 1981.
She worked for the Community Dental Services and in General NHS practice for 10 years.
She then went into full time NHS practice before taking on a Clinical Lecturer post, part time, with the University of Birmingham and joining a fully Private practice . She has been working in these posts for over 10 year, and during this time has completed a 3 year post graduate Diploma at Bristol University, studying periodontics, prosthetics and advanced conservative techniques.
