I am a Lecturer in Translation Studies in the English Language department at the University of Birmingham. I have a background in corpus-based translation studies and textual and intertextual analyses of translated texts.
I have a degree in English and Greek Language from the University of Athens, Greece and an MA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Manchester.
I joined the University of Birmingham in 2013. Before that I worked as a Research Assistant on the Translational English Corpus at the University of Manchester.
I teach modules on Translation Theory, Translation Project and Translation in a Professional Context at postgraduate level.
I am interested in supervising MA and MPhil research in the following areas:
