About

Dr Shei Sia Su is a material scientist with broad research interests in nanoparticles synthesis, processing of novel and engineered nanoparticles, powder metallurgy and microstructural characterization. She joined the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences as research fellow, working with Professor Jamie Lead and Dr Isaac Chang on a NERC funded project, which aims to synthesis and characterize different types of nanoparticles and understand the impact of nanoparticles on health.

Biography

Shei Sia Su obtained her BSc (Honors) in Resource Chemistry from University Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia in 2007. She worked as Associate Lecturer at Curtin University Sarawak before she was awarded an Overseas Research Scholarship to purse her PhD in Metallurgy and Materials at the University of Birmingham.
