Biography

Dr Amey S. Tilak worked on “Modeling Groundwater Hydrology and Nitrate-Nitrogen Dynamics of Two Riparian Buffers Located in Eastern North Carolina, USA (January 2008-August 2012). Prior to that he performed experimental work on producing “Manganese Oxide Coatings onto Sand Particles for Adsorption of Trace Metals from Groundwater” at University of Mississippi (Chemical Engineering Department) and the United States Army Corp of Engineers at Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) at Vicksburg, MS. His expertise is on hydrology (modeling) and biogeochemistry of riparian buffers and soil remediation techniques for heavy metals removal.
